About Cooper

Cooper Hathaway is Managing Partner at Silicon Valley Tax LLC. He runs the strategic side of the practice, from client experience and pricing to the internal systems and automations that keep a boutique firm running at Big 4 quality.

Before Silicon Valley Tax, Cooper worked in growth operations and data analytics at FloQast, one of the fastest-growing close-management platforms in accounting technology. He studied data science at General Assembly, with production experience in Python, SQL, machine learning, and data visualization for financial forecasting.

His day-to-day at SVT sits at the intersection of tax practice and tooling: designing the client onboarding experience, standing up the technology behind the 1040 review process, and staying close to the tax work that the firm's CPAs and enrolled agents deliver.
